There is no such thing as a magic pill that will help you grow muscle, supplements only work if you put in the work. Vitamins, Creatine, Amino Acids, Nitric Oxide, Protein, Omega 3-6-9, and even Steroids needs you to put in the work before you gain muscle (I don't condone steroid use).

If you have a healthy diet you will have an appropriate amount of Vitamins, Omega 3-6-9, and Amino Acids. However, many athletes do not receive the recommended amount of these nutrients. I would recommend all athletes to take a multivitamin, and if your training extremely hard I would recommend Omega 3-6-9.

There are many athletes and parents who ask about Creatine, Amino Acids, and Nitric Oxide. All of these are safe to take for all ages depending on health, and depending on which trainer, and doctor you ask some will say they work while others will say they don't work. I believe they work from the studies that have been published.

Creatine, Amino Acids, and Protein can all help you grow muscle at different levels. Creatine adds water to the cellular structure, Amino Acids is the building blocks of protein and will help with the restoration of your muscles. Protein is needed to healthily regrow your muscles. Beyond popular belief none of these are steroids.
