As a player myself I have had numerous sprained ankles, and jumping higher means you will have a greater risk of spraining your ankle. But did you know strong ankles can actually help you jump even higher. 

Below are a few exercises you can do to strengthen your ankles and also help you jump higher. 

Heel Ups: Stand up on your tipsy toes a back down until you cant do any more. 


Ankles Weights on Foot: Place ankle weights on your foot and bend your foot in dorsiflexion.

Towel Pull: Plant your heel on a towel and pull the towel with your toes.
