Teaching a new offensive play can be extremely painful for coaches. Players learn all different ways (Visual, Auditory, and Tactile) so to teach all of your players you must use each learning style in your explanation. I like to bring my team over and show them the play on a coaches board and then show them on the court after. Remember before the end of the practice have each player explain the plays you taught.

By teaching your players with all three learning styles you will be able to cut down on the time it takes to teach the plays, which will lead to more skill development.
