After an injury that keeps you on the sidelines the biggest question asked to doctors is, will I be able to play Basketball again? and if you could dunk before, will you ever dunk a Basketball again?

This is not an easy answer, some injuries will prevent you from playing Basketball, some will prevent you from dunking a basketball, however most injuries will let you return at 100%.

I have had the privilege to be able to return from 1 major injury and hopefully I will be able to return at 100% from my torn ACL.

When returning from an injury you must do what the doctor and physiotherapist say to do if you want to return to 100%. Physio is a very important part of the healing process. Your muscles go to waist after a major injury and/or surgery, physio will strengthen your muscles and flexibility with careful precision. My suggestion when returning to Basketball after an injury you must make your muscles in the effected area stronger than they were before.

Just remember doctors will try to prep you just in case you can never play again. My surgeon told me after I tore my ACL, MCL, and meniscus that I will never play Basketball again. Well I now know I will be able to return to Basketball and will be able to dunk eventually.
